Heather and I arrived in San Francisco late last night for our last adventure of the summer. We are here to visit my cousins Sherry and Joe and to explore the city.

The aroma of jasmine scents the cool, misty air. The houses stand shoulder to shoulder, tall and narrow with smokestacks poking toward the sky.

Today, we roamed the Muir Woods, walking amongst the Redwoods, breathing the sweet, oxygen-packed air. We crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, painted red, which rises up into the sky until it disappears in the clouds.
